This cowl is one of a 4 cowls woven on my ‘You Are My Sunshine’ warp. The warp was dye painted a combination of deep purple, turquoise, golden yellow and fuchsia. The weft was also hand dyed in a combination of purple and blue colours. The warp is UKI mercerized cotton and the weft is a supima cotton. This cowl is lined with a very fine commercially woven silk fabric that was hand dyed in a colour to complement the woven cloth.
This cowl is woven in a combination of two twills alternating across the cloth.
