Unlined Cowl – Eye of the Dragon (SOLD)

This cowl is one of a series of cowls woven on my ‘Eye of the Dragon’ warp. The warp was dye painted a combination of reds, burgundy, chocolate brown, black and old gold. The weft was hand dyed in a combination of dirty bronze, red, and rust orange splashes on a black background. The warp is UKI mercerized cotton and the weft is a Georgia ring spun cotton. This cowl is unlined and shows both surfaces of the woven cloth. The top and bottom of the cowl are finished with a hand stitiched, rolled hem.
This cowl is woven in an fancy twill.
