Unlined Cowl – Arabian Nights (SOLD)

This cowl is one of a few cowls woven on my ‘Arabian Nights’ warp. The warp was dye painted a combination of golden yellows, rust, chocolate brown, dark blue and lighter blue. The weft was hand dyed in a combination of dark rust and chocolate brown. The warp is supima cotton and the weft is a thick silk noil. This cowl is unlined and shows both surfaces of the woven cloth. The top and bottom of the cowl are finished with a hand stitiched, rolled hem.
This cowl is woven in an undulating twill.
